These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to or use of the game IIT Quest, including mobile applications, software, websites, in-game online forums/bulletins, player community, and other services and functions (collectively, “Services”) provided by Capitaltech Pte. Ltd. ("We," "Us," or "Our"), a company registered in Singapore with contact at contact@capitaltech.dev, or by third parties authorized by Us. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
BY USING THE SERVICES, YOU AFFIRM THAT YOU ARE OF LEGAL AGE (18) TO ENTER INTO THIS AGREEMENT OR, IF YOU ARE NOT, THAT YOU HAVE OBTAINED PARENTAL OR GUARDIAN CONSENT TO ENTER INTO THIS AGREEMENT.
THIS AGREEMENT CONTAINS A MANDATORY ARBITRATION PROVISION THAT, AS SET FORTH IN SECTION 13 BELOW, REQUIRES THE USE OF ARBITRATION ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS TO RESOLVE DISPUTES, RATHER THAN JURY TRIALS, OTHER COURT PROCEEDINGS, OR CLASS ACTIONS OF ANY KIND.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via in-game notices or posting on Our website or other reasonable means.
To access or use the Services, you must be at least the minimum age for personal data collection required by the laws of the country or region you are in (e.g., 13 in the United States under COPPA, 16 in some European Union countries under GDPR). If you are between this minimum age and the age of majority in your country or region (e.g., 18 in many countries), your parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms on your behalf. By using the Services, you affirm that you meet these age requirements or have obtained parental or legal guardian consent, and that you or your parent or legal guardian is responsible for your conduct while using the Services.
IIT Quest contains sci-fi themes, historical themes and violence that may not be suitable for younger children. We do not knowingly permit any users below the minimum age to use the Services without verified parental consent. Parents and legal guardians are encouraged to use parental control features on devices to monitor usage. For more information on data collection, see Our Privacy Policy. We may require proof of age or parental consent at Our discretion.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and play the Services for personal, non-commercial use on your devices, subject to these Terms. You may not:
The Services include sci-fi themes on colonization history. All intellectual property (IP) in the Services belongs to Us or our licensors.
The Services may include in-app purchases (IAP) or downloadable content (DLC) for expansions or features. Purchases are handled through the platform (e.g., Steam Wallet, Google Play Billing). All sales are final, subject to the platform’s refund policy. We do not handle refunds directly. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. You are responsible for any taxes or fees.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your access to the Services, without liability to Us, and may expose you to legal consequences under applicable laws (e.g., Singapore’s Computer Misuse Act).
We and our licensors own the Services, which are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trade names, trademarks, and service marks include “IIT Quest” (trademark applications pending in multiple jurisdictions) and any associated logos. Our copyrightable content includes all content in the Services, such as the story, characters, illustrations, designs, animations, text, music, software, and data. All trade names, trademarks, service marks, logos, and copyrightable content not owned by Us are the property of their respective owners.
You may not use Our copyrightable content, including but not limited to the game’s story, art, or music, without Our express prior written consent. You may not use Our trade names, trademarks, service marks, or logos in connection with any product or service that is not Ours, or in any manner that is likely to cause confusion, dilution, or infringement. Nothing in the Services or these Terms grants any right to use any copyrightable content, trade names, trademarks, service marks, or logos without the express prior written consent of the owner. Unauthorized use may result in legal action and liability under applicable laws, including Singapore’s Trademarks Act and Copyright Act.
No Use with Artificial Intelligence. You may not copy or use all or any part of the Game Assets (as defined below) for any artificial intelligence purposes. In particular, you may not use all or any part of the Game Assets to develop, create, prompt, train, improve or enhance any deep learning, machine learning or other artificial intelligence application, including any convolutional neural network, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes. You may not make screen captures or videos of gameplay or use text and data mining, web crawling, screen scraping or similar data gathering methods to create datasets that are used to train an AI model or for model validation or testing. As used herein, the term “Game Assets” means (a) the artwork, graphics, text, animation, video, visual displays and other elements visible to the user of the game (including the storyline, backstories, dialogue and lore for the game and transcripts of any gameplay; the characters that appear or are described in the game; and the locations, levels and maps of the game); (b) the sounds, musical compositions, sound effects, dialog, voice tags, sound tracks, and other elements audible to the user of the game; and (c) the vibrations, motions, feedback forces and other elements that are felt by the user of the game.
If you submit feedback, suggestions, ideas, or materials about the Services (e.g., via email, surveys, or platform forums) or post reviews on hosting platforms (e.g., Steam, itch.io, GOG, Google Play, Apple App Store) (collectively, “User Content”), you grant Us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, transferable, non-exclusive, and royalty-free license to use, copy, distribute, adapt, modify, translate, create derivative works from, publicly perform, publicly display, and apply such User Content to the Services or related marketing, in any media, for any purpose (commercial or otherwise), without compensation to you. This includes, but is not limited to, using feedback to improve the game or quoting reviews in promotional materials.
You represent that you have the right to grant this license and that your User Content does not infringe on any third-party rights. If you are under the age of majority in your country or region (e.g., 18), your parent or legal guardian must consent to this license on your behalf. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you waive any moral rights or claims to ownership of User Content. For information on how We collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use the Services, please refer to Our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is available in-game, on Our website, or through the platforms where the Services are legally distributed. By accessing or using the Services or accepting these Terms, you acknowledge and consent to Our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
The Services support local saves and progress tracking on your device. We are not responsible for lost data due to device issues, uninstalls, or failures. Your game data, including progress and saves, may be deleted if you uninstall the Services or otherwise clear your device’s data. Back up your saves regularly.
On mobile versions, ads may appear from third-party networks. We do not control ad content but strive for appropriateness.
The Services are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices. Use at your own risk.
IIT Quest is a work of fiction inspired by historical events related to colonization and conflicts. Any depictions of historical figures, events, or themes are interpretive and not intended to be historically accurate, endorse any political views, or offend any individuals, cultures, or groups. The content is for entertainment purposes only and does not reflect the opinions of Capitaltech Pte. Ltd. or its affiliates. We disclaim all liability for any claims arising from interpretations of the Services’ themes, including but not limited to defamation, emotional distress, or cultural insensitivity.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the Services, including but not limited to loss of data, emotional harm, or offense taken from the content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Services (if any). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply. The Services may contain violence and controversial themes; users sensitive to such content should exercise caution.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Capitaltech Pte. Ltd., its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and affiliates (collectively, the "Indemnified Parties") from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your misuse of the Services, including sharing or interpreting content in a way that leads to third-party claims; or (c) any claim that your actions infringe on the rights of others. This indemnification obligation will survive termination of these Terms. The Indemnified Parties shall not be personally liable for any claims related to the Services, and all such claims must be directed solely against Capitaltech Pte. Ltd. as a corporate entity.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms, without liability. Upon termination, your license ends, and you must delete the Services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) in Singapore, in accordance with its Arbitration Rules, on an individual basis. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator, and the language of the arbitration shall be English. Judgment on the arbitrator’s award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
Alternatively, you may bring claims in a Singapore small claims court, if eligible. You waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative action. Each party shall bear its own arbitration costs, subject to SIAC rules, unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator. For more information on SIAC arbitration, visit www.siac.org.sg .
These Terms do not, and shall not be construed to, create any partnership, joint venture, employer-employee, agency, or franchisor-franchisee relationship between you and Us. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
You may not assign, transfer, or sublicense any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without Our express prior written consent. We may assign, transfer, or sublicense any of Our rights or obligations under these Terms without restriction. No waiver by either party of any breach or default under these Terms will be deemed a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default.
Any heading, caption, or section title contained herein is for convenience only and does not define or explain any section or provision. Terms defined in the singular shall have the same meanings in the plural, where appropriate, unless otherwise specified. The term “including” or variations thereof shall be construed as “including without limitation.”
These Terms, including any incorporated terms (e.g., Privacy Policy), constitute the entire agreement between you and Us regarding the Services and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter.
Notices to you, including updates to these Terms, may be provided via in-game notices, email (if provided), posting on Our website, or regular mail. A printed or electronic version of these Terms and any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings to the same extent as other business documents originally generated in printed form.
We will not be responsible for any failure to fulfill obligations under these Terms due to causes beyond Our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, or technical failures.
